AxiOwl Features

Route messages between Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and remote nodes from one desktop app.

Agents chat with other Agents

Send a task to another enrolled agent by name. Your frontend agent can ask your backend agent without you copying context between windows.

Cross-Provider Agent Chat

Agents on different providers and machines can message each other through AxiOwl CAM, using one consistent CLI and enrollment model.

Remote Node Native

Run AxiOwl on your laptop, frontend, backend, or other nodes. Remote agents appear in the same agent list as local ones.

A2A Compatible

Two or more operators can work in the same agent chats at the same time, on the same node or across providers.

In chat, say: “Download and install AxiOwl from axiowl.com.”

Works with your existing IDE

In chat, say: “Ask the frontend dev if we are ready to push.”

Agents can use the bundled CAM skill to send messages to other enrolled agents.

AxiOwl Benefits

Route messages between Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and remote nodes from one desktop app.

Reduced token usage

Cheaper. Terminal output do not occupy the context window for a Boss agent that only chats.

Increased intelligence

Better. Don’t bog down the context window with dead ends.
Two heads are better than one, especially when they specialize.

Eliminate Drift

Watch command outputs and status from other agents so implementation stays aligned with the original plan.

Reduce time

Faster. Parallel agents finish work faster when they can hand off questions instead of waiting for you to relay messages between windows.

Ultra lightweight

Simple. Models already understand agent-to-agent messaging. One line of instruction to start.

Scales with feathers and a CLI terminal

A2A Compatible

Connect compatible agents through A2A while AxiOwl provides discovery, routing, and cross-provider coordination.

Boss Agent

Powerful. Assign one Boss agent that never writes code—command output.

Save money

Efficient. With coordination and loop detection, you can use smaller models for routine edits while a lightweight coordinator keeps the project on track.

AxiOwl Mobile

Use AxiOwl on your phone to stay connected to agents running on your desktop and remote nodes. Review messages, coordinate work, and reach Cursor, Codex, VS Code, and other enrolled providers through AxiOwl CAM without creating a separate mobile workflow.

Hosted AxiOwl

Two cloud options when local-only is not enough: our paid hosted registry and router for remote node sync and message routing, or a managed AxiOwl VPS with your providers already installed.

Hosted registry

Cloud registry for enrollment and remote node sync - without opening inbound ports on your machines.

Spawn Swarm

Run heavier workloads in the cloud without slowing your PC—useful when you are away from the desk.

Teamwork

Share agent access in real time with colleagues on the same hosted setup.

Always on Cloud CAM

Keep CAM and registry available in the background on a managed host.

Compatibility

AxiOwl CAM is middleware for agentic coding CLIs and IDEs. It works with enrolled providers on your machines and nodes. The axiowl-cam CLI is designed so coding agents can send and receive messages with a small, stable command set.

AxiOwl Privacy

AxiOwl does not process or store your chat sessions, and does not send them to our servers unless you have signed up and paid for a hosted registry or related service.
Your sessions stay between you and your model provider. With local models and AxiOwl, your chats never leave your system unless you choose remote features.
AxiOwl talks to remote nodes over SSH on port 22, outgoing by default, using the security model of your existing SSH stack.
AxiOwl is not a web app. It does not expose incoming ports by default.
Optional discovery mode can scan the filesystem to find chats. That registry stays on your computer unless you use our paid hosted registry service.
