AxiOwl began in 2026, in Portland, Oregon, USA. AxiOwl is a wholly owned subsidiary of ApiCostX Cooperation, founded in 2024 by Morgan Ross Egging. ApiCostX.com provides a normalization service for LLM driven research and translation frameworks, and we leverage that experience to provide a normalization middleware utility for agent coding frameworks with Axiowl. ApiCostX’s FilePromptForge is the world’s leading LLM normalization layer for singe-shot reasoning and websearch.
AxiOwl is a coordination layer for AI-assisted software work. It connects local workstations, remote nodes, IDE agents, and service agents so they can exchange structured messages, hand off tasks, report status, and keep work moving across machines.
The goal is simple: make agent work less trapped inside one chat window. AxiOwl treats each useful environment as a reachable participant, whether it is a Codex session, a remote WordPress node, a backend service host, or a mailbox-style agent waiting for a specific job.
